Custom framing is a substantial part of our business at The Antiquarium, and we are expert at it. Often a customer buys an unframed print or document and selects a framing treatment on the spot. Just as often, we design framing for a customer’s painting, print, photograph or other item. We often have the opportunity to build a shadowbox or engineer some special framing solution.

We only frame archivally. Our moulding selection is high-end, and we create beautiful French mats by hand. We like to go over-the-top, in an understated way. We are meticulous craftspeople who love to see smiles on the faces of satisfied customers.

If you purchase a paper object from our online gallery, and are interested in having us frame it before shipping, we can discuss possibilities and budget over the phone. We will come up with several design solutions, photograph them, and send them to you by mail, email, or fax, along with our quote. If you are happy with our design and price, we’ll go ahead after recieving your deposit of one-half. Otherwise, we’ll continue to work until we come up with a design and price that are satisfactory.
