Early 20th century. Constant deviation type, with prism, mirror, telescope with rack focusing and micrometer fine adjustment, pair of slits with adjustment and three screw base. The final deviation of light rays through the prism is always 90° and rotating the prism allows different wavelengths to be viewed.
